CPR, Defibrillators & Emergency Response
From the first moments of an emergency to the arrival of the ambulance – would you know what to do?
Is This Course Right for You?
Cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time. Whether you're at work, enjoying your hobby, attending a club, volunteering in your community or simply spending time with family and friends, knowing what to do could save someone's life.
Our CPR, Defibrillators & Emergency Response course is designed to give everyone the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to respond effectively when someone suffers a cardiac arrest.
This isn't just about learning CPR or how to operate a defibrillator. We take you through the whole emergency, from recognising that something is seriously wrong and calling 999, to locating and accessing a defibrillator, delivering lifesaving treatment and preparing for the arrival of the ambulance crew.
This course is ideal for:
-
Businesses and workplaces – all employees, not just designated first aiders.
-
Sports clubs, leisure groups and recreational organisations.
-
Community groups, charities and volunteer organisations.
-
Social clubs, societies and membership organisations.
-
Schools, colleges and community facilities.
-
Families and individuals who want to be better prepared.
You don't need to be a qualified first aider to save a life. You just need to know what to do.

Practical, Hands-On Learning
At Parkin Medical, we believe that the best way to learn lifesaving skills is to practise them.
Our course combines engaging demonstrations, practical exercises and real-life examples to help you understand what actually happens during a cardiac emergency.
You'll have the opportunity to practise CPR on training manikins, become familiar with an AED and work through the steps involved in managing an emergency.
Where possible, we'll also look at the defibrillator available at your own premises, helping everyone understand exactly where it is, how to access it and what to do when it's needed.
Our aim is simple: to take away the uncertainty, build confidence and help you act when it really matters.
